If your looking for a holiday for a large family or group, this place is ideal. Plenty of room indoors and out. The cottage is set around a mile from the nearest road, so if it's peace and tranquility you are looking for, look no further. Do not expect a prestine, spotless show house. This is a farm house, with dust and smoke from the fire and furniture that is meant to be used and not just pretty to look at. Our family fell in love with the place and didn't want to leave, pretty much says it all really.

6 adults, 4 children and we still managed to spend a very relaxing weekend break here. The accommodation is so spacious that it was easy to forget there were children in the cottage, and the caretaker should be commended for the cleanliness in every room. One of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will definitely be booking it again!

Squirrel Bank is an exceptional property, set in a wonderful location. Fantastic for dinner parties or just chilling out.We have stayed in many Hoseasons proprties and this is unquestionably the best! The surrounding countryside is also hard to beat, from Hawes to Leyburn.

If you want to be in a beautiful area but have the advantages of being near to many enjoyable sightseeing venues, then this is the location for you. This is a wonderful cottage, spacious and luxurious but retaining its rustic charm!

Nice spacious property in very secluded location, so if you really want to get away from other people this is a good place to do it! Quite a few birds and rabbits to look at from the window.
